YEREVAN. – The Prime Minister of Armenia, Hovik Abrahamyan, on Tuesday attended, in the National Assembly (NA), the opening ceremony of a roundtable discussion organized within the framework of the international conference entitled “Eurasian Economic Prospects.”

Welcoming the organizers of and participants in such a prestigious event, the PM specifically noted: “In practical terms, by joining the Eurasian Economic Union, Armenia’s economy is becoming a part of the more than 170 million-strong market, which makes our country more appealing for investments and major long-term projects.”

Abrahamyan also wished productive work to the roundtable discussants, and expressed the hope that the recommendations to be made during this event will find their practical application.

Next, Hovik Abrahamyan attended, in the NA hall, in the official opening of an exhibition devoted to the 70th anniversary of Victory in Great Patriotic War, during World War II, and got familiarized with the works of Armenian and Russian painters of the Soviet era.
