YEREVAN. – The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) was AMD 471.13/$1 in Armenia on Tuesday; this is down by AMD 0.08 from Monday.
The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 505.29 (down by AMD 5.78), that of one British pound was AMD 695.76 (down by AMD 3.37), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 8.13 (down by AMD 0.01), informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.
One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 259.75, AMD 18,243.67, and AMD 17,498.4, respectively.
Tuesday’s trading totaled USD 2,300,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 471.95/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 472.25/$1.
