YEREVAN. – The Police of Armenia received information on Tuesday.
Accordingly, a BMW 320 had collided with a VAZ 2107-model vehicle, at around 7:15pm, on the Akhuryan-Karnut motorway.
As a result, the VAZ 2107 driver, Ara Karapetyan, 28, and the passenger, Paruyr Atoyan, 22, had died on the spot, whereas the driver and passenger of the BMW were injured and taken to hospital, the Police press service informed.
Subsequently, information was received from the hospital, on Wednesday at 12:20am, that another passenger of the aforesaid BMW, Azat M., 23, also had asked for medical assistance, and he was diagnosed with fractures.
An investigation is underway into the accident.
