Armenia's capital city Yerevan was included in top five CIS cities popular among Russian tourists in 2015, says the survey conducted by Russian online booking service Oktogo.ru.

Top ten of the most popular CIS cities among Russian travelers are Minsk, Kiyv, Baku, Almaty, Yerevan, Astana, Vitebsk, Tashkent, Brest and Lviv.

Russian tourists spend on average three days in Yerevan and pay around $60 for a hotel room per day.

Astana offers the most expensive accommodation among CIS cities.
