YEREVAN. – The opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) is attempting to “stroke” the society’s “ear” by making statements about the need to reduce the natural gas prices in the country.

The head of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia National Assembly (RPA NA) Faction, Vahram Baghdasaryan, stated the abovementioned at Friday’s NA briefings

In response to ANC NA Faction Secretary Aram Manukyan’s statement that the gas price for the residents can be reduced by 25 percent, the RPA MP specifically noted: “Such statements are pleasing to listen, but we must be realistic. The parliamentary Ad Hoc Committee on Pricing Issues has done a lot of work, and introduced several valuable suggestions. And most importantly, they are based on facts, not good wishes.”
