Armenia is ranked 58th among 143 countries in the Network Readiness Index (NRI), and as a result, it has gone up seven spots as compared to last year’s rankings.

The aforesaid is noted in the Global Information Technology Report 2015 issued by the World Economic Forum.

Accordingly, Armenia is the leader in the NRI growth between 2012 and 2015, thus improving its respective ranking by 36 places.

As compared to last year, a growth was recorded in Armenia with respect to all four components of this index, with the most significant improvement (+13 points) being the impact component.

Overall, Armenia’s rankings are quite high as compared to the low- to middle-income countries.
