YEREVAN. – The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) was AMD 472.64/$1 in Armenia on Wednesday; this is down by AMD 1.42 from Tuesday.
The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 500.86 (up by AMD 0.39), that of one British pound was AMD 695.82 (up by AMD 2.37), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 9.36 (up by AMD 0.21), informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.
One gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 252.9, AMD 18,449.82 and AMD 17,894.34, respectively.
Wednesday’s trading totaled USD 3.8 million at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 472.25/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 472.51/$1.
