YEREVAN. – The Minister of Nature Protection of Armenia, Aramayis Grigoryan, on Friday met with Bradley Busetto, the United Nations (UN) Resident Coordinator/UN Development Programme (UNDP) Resident Representative in Armenia.
The interlocutors summed up the joint programs implemented in Armenia in 2014, and conferred on the activities for the current year and the new prospects for cooperation, informed the press service of the Ministry of Nature Protection of Armenia.
Busetto informed that the UNDP has been accredited by the Green Foundation, and therefore it now has the opportunity to receive funding to implement regional energy efficiency and environmental projects.
Grigoryan, for his part, stressed that these opportunities which the Green Foundation has provided will create new prospects for solving environmental issues in Armenia.
