Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan apparently accused the Islamic-conservative leader of Turkey, as reported by the Hoduran newspaper La Prensa, devoted to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

According to the newspaper, Armenia’s President apparently accused Turkey’s leader in the latter’s intention to manipulate history and distract the world’s attention from the events commemorating the 100th anniversary of Armenian Genocide.

“This contradiction put many world leaders in a predicament. One of those leaders is Russia’s President Vladimir Putin, who split himself up between Post-Soviet Armenia, where the Russian military base is located, and his desire to satisfy Turkey – an important gas project ally,” the newspaper writes.
