Bulgaria's parliament will debate a draft decision to recognize the Armenian Genocide.
ATAKA party proposed to put to the vote initiative to hold debates, Darik News reported. Those voting against were mainly representatives of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms that is founded by Bulgarian Turks.
The resolution to recognize the Armenian Genocide was introduced in Bulgaria's parliament twice in 2006 and 2008, but was blocked thanks to the efforts of the Movement.
