YEREVAN. – The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) was AMD 473.93/$1 in Armenia on Wednesday; this is up by AMD 0.53 from the Tuesday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 511.40 (up by AMD 5.40), that of one British pound was AMD 712.69 (up by AMD 7.94), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 8.87 (up by AMD 0.03), informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.

One gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 245.03, AMD 18,214.18 and AMD 17,554.37, respectively.

Wednesday’s trading totaled USD 2.9 million at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 474.71/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 475/$1.
