WASHINGTON, DC. – US Secretary of State John Kerry discussed in Washington, DC. the Armenian issue together with Turkish FM Mevlut Cavusoglu, reported the Washington, DC. correspondent of Armenian News-NEWS.am.
US Department of State Acting Spokesperson Marie Harf announced that Kerry had conferred on Armenian-Turkish relations at their meeting.
“The Secretary expressed U.S. support for Turkey-Armenia normalization and the importance of Turkey taking concrete steps to match its government’s statements on reconciliation with Armenia,” Harf noted.
