YEREVAN. – Russia wants to become the arbitrator, the judge of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict, said Richard Czarnecki, Vice-President of the European Parliament, speaking to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Czarnecki advised Armenians to be cautious with respect to the Karabakh issue because, in his view, this matter is a good “ball” for Russia to play in this region.

Nonetheless, as per the European Parliament vice speaker, Armenia has enough strength for the resolution of this matter.

“Frankly, I believe Russia’s assistance in this issue could cause a skeptical attitude by the West,” Richard Czarnecki added.
