YEREVAN. – The Armenian parliament will hold a special session on May 5 to discuss draft amendment to the law on trade and services, Government Chief of Staff-Minister David Harutyunyan said.

Amendments suggest updated procedures for the circulation control on food stamps, and some non-food products (perfumes and cosmetics). Existing stamps expire after April 30.

“Therefore it is necessary to arrange the release of new ones earlier to continue uninterrupted control of tax service over retail sales of goods,” Harutyunyan said.
