YEREVAN. - Armenia’s Parliament commenced the discussion of a new draft law on the insurance of bank deposits of natural persons.
The draft law suggests raising the threshold of deposit insurance of natural persons in national and foreign currency from 4 and 2 million AMD to 8 and 4 million AMD respectively. At the proposal of the Government, this threshold has even been raised to 10 and 5 million AMD in the draft law.
