YEREVAN. – The traditional march organized by the Communist Party of Armenia kicked off on Friday in the center of Yerevan (photo).

The demonstrators were signing songs of the Soviet time, holding flags of the Soviet Union and Soviet Armenia. The protesters were carrying posters demanding further strengthening of military and strategic cooperation with Russia.

The protesters marched in the central streets and headed to the Russian Embassy in Yerevan.
