Representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Office in Baku, the capital city of Azerbaijan, on Monday visited captured Armenian soldier Andranik Grigoryan.

The ICRC representatives informed the captive about his family and obtained information from him for his family, Head of Communication Department of the ICRC Baku Office Ilaha Huseynova told APA news agency of Azerbaijan.

Huseynova also mentioned that according its mandate, the ICRC visits detainees to monitor their treatment and conditions of detention and to help ensure that the detainees are able to maintain contact with their families.

Grigoryan had fallen captive on March 22.
