YEREVAN. – This year’s Last Bell will sound on May 22 in the schools in Armenia.

Zohrap Yeganyan, the Press Secretary of the Minister of Education and Science, told the aforementioned to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

On that day, the last lesson, Last Bell event, and respective festive concerts are held for the children graduating from the country’s elementary and high schools.  

And the university entrance exams will be held from June 2 to 23.

The Last Bell is a tradition coming from the ex-Soviet times, and it is the most popular and anticipated day of the schoolchildren. This day is celebrated in a variety of countries, and numerous respective events are organized.
