STEPANAKERT. - Karabakh Foreign Minister Karen Mirzoyan received on Saturday the ‘International expert Center for Electoral Systems (ICES)’ NGO delegation members, who arrived in Karabakh with the view of observing the parliamentary elections.  

During the meeting Karen Mirzoyan noted the importance of the participation of international observers in Karabakh’s parliamentary elections in the context of improving the electoral system and consolidating the democracy, Karabakh MFA press-service reports.

The parties expressed confidence that the parliamentary elections serve another opportunity to confirm the commitment of Karabakh people to universal human rights and fundamental freedoms.
