YEREVAN. - Former Armenian MP, entrepreneur Khachatur Sukiasyan has decided to build a hotel in the form of the Armenian national musical instrument duduk, Armenian News – NEWS.am sources report.
On the territory of Russia cinema, Kahacatur Sukiasyan is planning to build a large mall, which besides shops will also include cafés. The shopping center will be called ‘Russia Mall.’ In front of it, on the territory of Queen Burger café, the construction of a duduk-shaped hotel is planned.
Anna Mkrtchyan, Khachatur Sukiasyan’s press-secretary told Armenian News – NEWS.am that Sil Concern is ready to fund any building symbolizing Armenia, if it corresponds to the territory and contains interesting architectural solutions.
During political repressions Khachatur Sukiasyan wasn’t allowed to build 2-3-floor buildings, whereas now he has been allowed to construct a 12-13-floor hotel.
