Turkey, Azerbaijan and Georgia have agreed to coordinate cooperation in defense sector.

During the meeting of Azerbaijani Defense Minister with the chiefs of the armed forces of Turkey and Georgia, the sides decided to create a coordination group in order to regulate trilateral cooperation among the armed forces, APA reported.

The group aims to hold joint exercises and courses, expand cooperation in the areas of education and medicine, exchange experience and coordinate other issues of common interests.

A protocol on the results of the meeting was signed.
