YEREVAN. - Armenian vegetable growers may be interested in new Belarusian agent stimulating the plant growth, Igor Zabashtanskiy, director-general of Yeast Plant OJSC in Minsk told Armenian News – NEWS.am during the meeting of Armenian and Belarusian entrepreneurs in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Yerevan.

The yeast-based agent contains no chemical supplements, he said. “In Belarus it’s already widely-known and is even available for retired farmers,” he said.

The total cost for one hectare is 20 USD.

The agent has been tested on more than 30 agricultural croppers and has already been certified in Belarus.

The agent is exported to Russia, and shortly the company is going to import it to the EU. “No such agent is available in the European market, that’s why we hope to solidify there,” Igor Zabashtanskiy concluded.
