Catholicos Aram I of the Great House of Cilicia left for a patriarchal visit to U.S. on Wednesday morning.
His Holiness Aram I will visit the Armenian communities in Washington, New Jersey, Philadelphia, New York, Boston, Detroit, Chicago and other cities.
Catholicos will also hold a number of inter-church and political meetings. In Washington, His Holiness Aram I will attend commemorations on the centenary of the Armenian Genocide.
