YEREVAN. - Armenia welcomes the unanimous adoption by the Luxembourg Parliament of a resolution on recognition of the Armenian Genocide in the Ottoman Empire, Armenia’s FM Edward Nalbandian said in his statement, referring to the acknowledgement of the Armenian Genocide by Luxembourg’s Parliament.
The irrevocable process of the Armenian Genocide recognition by the international community continues, Nalbandian said.
By adopting this resolution, Luxembourg added to the list of the countries, which have recognized the Armenian Genocide, making its important input in the eminent work of preventing new crimes against humanity, the FM noted.
