YEREVAN. – Armenia's Diplomatic School will receive additional funding from the European Union till April 2017, EU Ambassador Traian Hristea said during a conference on e-diplomacy.

“We are happy to see that Armenia's Diplomatic School marks its fifth anniversary by organizing a conference and establishing links with the diplomatic schools and services of EU members and other countries,” head of EU delegation said.

The main goal of long-term cooperation between the European Union and Yerevan towards providing assistance to Diplomatic School is to enforce the structure allowing school give education and possibility of re-training for the diplomatic staff.

Traian Hristea spoke about continuation of the EU program that will provide assistance to the institutional development of the diplomatic school. The head of EU delegation in Armenia recalled that the project kicked off in May 2013 as a part of the program of the comprehensive development of the state agencies. The program is estimated at 1,660,000 euro.
