YEREVAN. – Armenia should win Eurovision song contest so that we could come here next time, representative of Austria's Ministry of Science, Research and Economics Gottfried Bacher told reporters in Yerevan.

“I will definitely listen to your song when I am back to Austria,” he promised.

Asked about Armenia's chances to win Eurovision and Austria's support, given the political character of the contest, Bacher recalled that several weeks ago Austria fully acknowledged the Armenian Genocide.

“Many politicians in our country do not use this term because of different reasons. I think that people in Austria are well aware of the Genocide, history and problems,” he emphasized.

Gottfried Bacher also asked the Armenian reporters to teach him several Armenian words.
