YEREVAN. – Armenian dance Kochari will be submitted for the recognition of intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO, Armenian Culture Minister Hasmik Poghosyan told reporters on Saturday.

“However, we are faced with serious opposition, as our neighbors, will argue that it is their national dance. However, we will prove that it is the Armenian dance,” she said.

Culture Minister added that last year, a great victory for Armenia was that lavash bread was recognized by UNESCO, the Armenian intangible cultural heritage, despite the hysteria of neighbors.
