YEREVAN. – Tigran Urikhanyan has been elected chairman of the “Alliance” Progressive Centrist Party during party's first congress on Saturday.
The charter and the program of the party were approved, the members elected the board and control commissions.
MP Tigran Urikhanyan, who used to be the press secretary of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP), had issued a statement noting that it is no longer expedient for him to stay in the PAP. Urikhanyan had added that he will be engaged in the founding of the Civil Headquarters, within the framework of which he will continue to fight for the future.
