Within the framework of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) President Bako Sahakyan’s visit to the Rhône department in Eastern France, an agreement was signed Monday between the French city of Villeurbanne and Karabakh city Shoushi.

Bako Sahakyan met with members of Villeurbanne city council, headed by Mayor Jean-Paul Bret, NKR President’s Press Service reports. According to President Sahakyan, establishing and deepening of friendly relations between the two cities will positively impact the development of Shoushi and will contribute to the process of successful realization of a number of programs in the city.
