YEREVAN. – South Africa’s new Ambassador to Armenia, Christian Albertus Basson—whose diplomatic residence is in the Ukrainian capital city of Kyiv—, on Monday presented a copy of his credentials to Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Manassarian.

The deputy FM congratulated the ambassador on his appointment, underscored the development of Armenian-South African relations, and expressed a conviction that the ambassador will give new impetus to making the ongoing cooperation grow deeper.

Ambassador Basson, for his part, said South Africa likewise attaches great importance to relations between the two countries, and assured that will do his utmost to develop collaboration.
