US Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Robert Sekuta, has called on the parties to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict to demonstrate will, reported APA news agency of Azerbaijan.
“The United States, as a member of the OSCE Minsk Group, efforts to solve the Nagorno Karabakh conflict,” Sekuta said. “Today, we continue our efforts in this direction.”
According to him, the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs have been negotiating with the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia for organizing a meeting of the presidents this year:
“As a result, [it] should not be forgotten that the leadership of both countries must demonstrate the will to take a step and based on the ideas offered by the Co-Chairs towards peaceful resolution of the protracted conflict,” stated the US ambassador to Azerbaijan.
