YEREVAN. – Armenia's Education Ministry will start implementation of the “One Computer, One School Child” pilot project in Vayots Dzor region of Armenia in mid September, Minister Armen Ashotyan said.

There is already a relevant draft decision by the government as well as relevant source of funding.

“We are carrying out technical and substantive work to fulfill not only the problem of providing a child with a gadget, but also ensuring creation of Armenian-language educational content by means of this tool,” Ashotyan said.

The pilot program will operate for four years, the Minister said, adding that the project will help in creating new reserves of e-learning in Armenian language.
