YEREVAN. – The referendum on constitutional amendments in Armenia will change from the spring of 2016 to the end of autumn this year, reported Haykakan Zhamanak daily.

“At least, that is what the persons informed of and involved in the constitutional reform process assure.

“The text of the amendments is awaited in the NA [i.e. the National Assembly] in the beginning of autumn.

“Even though those involved in the process note that the decisions are already made on the key issues, some forces still believe that there will also be a second option of amendments, which[, however,] the chairman of the specialized committee [on constitutional reforms] basically ruled out last week,” wrote Haykakan Zhamanak.
