YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of Armenia received information on Tuesday at 4:06am.

Accordingly, the seismological network of the ministry’s “Survey for Seismic Protection” Agency recorded a 3.1-magnitude earthquake in the Georgia-Armenia border area at 3:49am local time.

The tremor measured magnitude 4 at the epicenter, and its hypocenter was 10 km beneath the surface.

The seismic activity, however, was not felt in Armenia.
