YEREVAN. – The son and nephew of ex-MP Hakob Hakobyan who were injured in an explosion at a natural gas station in Armenia’s Armavir Province had been taken to the burn center in Yerevan.

Norayr Davtyan, head of the center, said the injured are in an intensive care department, they are in critical condition. Armen Hakobyan, the son of ex-MP, suffered burns covering more than 40 percent of the body. Ex-MP's nephew suffered burns covering 86 percent of the body.

As reported earlier, the blast occurred at a gas station belonging to ex-MP, and as a result, a Volkswagen exploded. The natural gas station worker sustained injuries, too.
