YEREVAN. – Members of “No to Plunder” initiative expect that the rally against electricity price rise will bring together numerous citizens in Yerevan, they told reporters on Tuesday.

Initiative member Maksim Sargsyan said many people had showed interest in the action planned for Wednesday.

“The price rise is unjustified, as the debt has been accumulated as a result of mismanagement. The Armenian citizens realize they do not have to pay for the debt of Electric Networks of Armenia from their own pocket,” Sargsyan said.

Similar demonstrations will be held in over 10 cities and towns of Armenia on Wednesday.
