YEREVAN. – Around 1,000 jobs remain vacant in Armenia per month, Labor and Social Affairs Minister Artem Asatryan said.

The employment program involved the disabled and land owners in 2014.

“Therefore, the number of applications to the state employment agency is growing,” the Minister said.

In 2014, the service received from employers data about 2,000 vacancies in a month, but one thousand of them remained vacant.

“There are issues of structural unemployment - mismatch between demand and offer in labor market Anyway, we are continuing program of professional training and practice,” the Minister said.
