Ever since 2006, a woman living in Bergamo, Italy, feeds her son with only vegetables, cereals, and legumes.

Her ex-husband, however, filed a lawsuit in court noting that this decision was made without his knowledge. He added that such a diet can harm his child’s health.

It is noted that when the father and son spent time together on weekends, they were eating at McDonald’s fast food restaurants and preparing meat and dessert, and the boy’s grandmother was giving him sausage and goat cheese.

But the mother said that after that, the child’s stomach had started to ache, reported Euromag.

The court verdict, however, states that the father shall feed meat to his son no more than twice a week.
