YEREVAN. – Water volume in Akhuryan Reservoir, Armenia's largest reservoir, has increased significantly over a year, head of state committee on water management Aram Harutyunyan told reporters.
The volume of the reservoir, located on Akhuryan river on the border with Turkey, is 530-550 million cubic meters. Last year less than half of the reservoir was filled.
“I think it might reassure us and the farmers of the region,” Harutyunuan said.
