YEREVAN. - The number of fish in Armenia’s Lake Sevan increased in 2014, Simon Papyan, Armenia’s First Deputy Minster of Nature Protection said in the parliament on Friday.
According to the findings of research, carried out by the Centre of Hydroecology and Ichthyology of Armenia’s National Academy of Sciences, the growth in the run of lake herrings was observed as early as in 2013. That dynamics continued in 2014, and not only with regard to lake herring, but also Sevan trout.
