Vietnam appreciates development of relations with Armenia and considers necessary to intensify and develop trade and economic ties, Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung said during his meeting with Armenian counterpart Hovik Abrahamyan.

Prime Minister Abrahamyan noted strengthening of Armenia-Vietnam relations over the recent years. Meanwhile, cooperation between Vietnam and Eurasian Economic Union is a new factor in bilateral relations, Armenian government's press office reported.

In the context of the need to implement the existing great economic potential, Armenian PM offered to create Armenia-Vietnam inter-governmental committee that will give an impetus to economic cooperation.

Mr. Nguyen Tan Dung accepted Armenian counterpart's offer to create an inter-governmental committee and organize a business forum.

Armenian PM met with his Kyrgyzstan's counterpart Temir Sariyev to discuss prospects of economic cooperation.

In the context of the need to increase the volume of trade, the sides stressed importance of intensifying the work of Armenia-Kyrgyzstan intergovernmental commission.
