YEREVAN. – Inspectors from the Preclearance Control Department (PCD) of the Ministry of Finance of Armenia have prevented, on May 31 at Meghri Customs Checkpoint on the border with Iran, an attempt to illegally import drugs.

The inspectors discovered 10.38 grams of a black opium-like substance.

The PCD is persistent in stopping any attempts to illegal transportation of drugs

So far in 2015, the PCD inspectors discovered, with three more cases, around 2.3 kilograms of an opium-like substance that was hidden from customs control.
