A city museum has opened in Diyarbakir, Turkey.
Cemil Pasha’s house in Diyarbakir has been turned into a museum, reported Agos Armenian bilingual weekly of Istanbul.
A total of 1,500 exhibits on the culture of the peoples that lived in Diyarbakir throughout history are displayed in the museum.
The person in charge of the museum, Burçak Madran, recalled that such activities are carried out at the Surp (Holy) Giragos Armenian Church of Diyarbakir (Tigranakert, in Armenian), where the Armenians’ traces in the city will be exhibited.
