YEREVAN. – As a result of the ongoing flowering works in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan, the number of planted flowers will reach 2.2 million in the current year.

One million 250 thousand of these flowers were grown in the Yerevan municipal plant nursery, and landscaping companies of the capital city provided the rest of these flowers.

The main flowering works will be completed on June 15.

In addition, Yerevan’s lawns are still being revitalized, and humus is still brought from the Kotayk Province to create new lawns in the city.
