Member of the Russian State Duma's committee on defense Franz Klintsevich said Russia has to tighten regulations for the Russians who will serve abroad, RIA Novosti reported.
“No matter whether it is about contract serviceman or a conscript. It is not ruled out that these requirements have to be enshrined in law,” he said.
A Russian soldier was found dead Monday nearby the 102nd Russian Military Base in Gyumri, the second largest city of Armenia. Later fellow serviceman was detained in connection with the murder of Ivan Novikov who pleaded guilty to the crime.
