YEREVAN. – International recognition of the Armenian Genocide is an irreversible process, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian said during a joint media conference with his Czech counterpart Lubomír Zaorálek.

The discussions on Genocide on the 100th anniversary are being held with the participation of all political parties in many countries. The Minister gave high assessment of the statements by leadership of a number of countries, including Germany and Belgium.

In turn, the Czech Foreign Minister said he had visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial and had the opportunity to get acquainted with the tragic chapter of Armenian history. According to him, the position of the Czech Republic was clearly expressed during the visit of Armenian leader to the Czech Republic. Czech Foreign Minister is confident that tragic chapter for the Armenian people must be a historic lesson.
