YEREVAN. – We aim to make this Armenian-Georgian forum become permanent, and even turn this bilateral format into a regional one.

The Minister of Justice of Armenia, Hovhannes Manukyan, noted the aforesaid at Thursday’s press conference within the framework of the Armenian-Georgian Forum on Legal Cooperation.

In his words, this forum is unique, since it is convened for the first time at the level of specialists from the relevant ministries of the two countries.

“We [i.e. Armenia and Georgia] are implementing reforms in the same directions,” added Manukyan.

As per the minister, this forum is important not solely in terms of an assembly of attorneys, but such events are very important from the viewpoint of the strengthening of Armenian-Georgian bilateral relations.
