“No to Plunder” initiative that is holding protest actions in Yerevan is apolitical, a Polish newspaper Gazeta Wyborcza writes.
“The demonstrations that continue since Friday are organized by apolitical “No to Plunder” initiative. The demonstrators are accusing president Serzh Sargsyan's administration of turning them into poor by rising electricity prices. According to the decision made on June 17, the electricity prices will have to rise by nearly 16% starting from August 1,” the newspaper writes.
