Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan, who is on a working visit to the Kingdom of Belgium, today attended the European Peoples’ Party (EPP) Summit in Brussels hosted by the EPP President Joseph Daul.

The Summit was attended by the Presidents of the European Council and European Commission Donald Tusk and Jean-Claude Juncker, as well as the heads of the EU and Eastern Partnership states and governments, who represent the parties which are EPP members. 

The developments in the sphere of the Eastern Partnership following Riga Summit, as well as approaches to the issues set on the agenda of the upcoming session of the European Council were discussed.  

Sargsyan will return to Armenia late this evening.
