About 200 sit-in participants, who are staging an awareness action in Armenia’s Gyumri city, are currently near St Hakob Church in Gyumri’s Ani district, where they have been joined by other citizens.

As reported by Armenian News - NEWS.am, the protestors prayed in St Hakob Church  following which they moved to Gyumri’s Theatre Square, observing a minute of silence in ‘memory’ of Yevgeny Bibin, CEO of the Russian-owned Electric Networks of Armenia CJSC.

Besides young men, the protest is also attended by elder people who have come with their grandchildren.

Parallel with protests and sit-in held in Yerevan, protests have also been launched in Gyurmi.
